Bonifacio Day: Ano Ngayon?

Andres Bonifacio

Ano ngayon?

Bonifacio Day. Ano ngayon?

Ano ngayon? Bonifacio Day. Anong ibig-sabihin nito sayo?

Confessions Of An Addict

writingI admit that I’d become an addict. Once I tried it, I never managed to resist. It started as curiosity. I found myself doing it over and over again. I found a piece of my missing puzzle. It may not complete me as a whole, but it hugely contributed on my personality, if not on my soul.

I’m talking about blogging. I find writing amusing and a great way to express thoughts and emotion. I also like to leave something behind when I’m gone so this could serve my purpose well. I may not be a world famous personality, but through my writings, I would leave some of my personality behind.

Although lots of writers say that they don’t have any intention to change the world, but we must admit that it is an achievement to influence lives.

I’m so addicted to blogging that I created accounts on several blogging platforms. I have lots of thoughts to write but only have small amount of time. And aside from writing, there are lots of things that I want to do including playing music, reading, and learning.

I also like to lie down and watch a marathon movie on a rainy day.

I also make sure that I keep my main blog alive and updated because it is not only a passion or a hobby. My main blog is about my faith and sharing the word of God. I prioritize it because it is not for me but for Him. You can visit my main blog here: http://ourlivingbread.com.

I’m also addicted with Him.

The Most Destructive Force to Mankind

heart

The most destructive force to mankind is his own heart. All of our sin starts from the heart. Our heart creates desires and desires sparks sins; the desire of power, the desire of flesh, the desire of recognition, the desire of wealth. This is the method Satan used to tempt Jesus. The tells us about guarding our heart. It is not guns, nature and illness that destroys mankind. Guns and killings are just a product of our sinful heart while if we have a loving heart, it will glow in times of calamities, disasters and illness. A Historical Event I’d Time Travel To

I like the idea of time travel. I'm really curious about it. Maybe it is because I like history too. I'm curious what it was like in the past. If it is possible for me to travel time, I would like to go to the time of Jesus. I would like to know what it was like to live 2,000 years ago. I would like to see His face and what does He looks like and I would like to hear His voice also. I would like to know Him physically, and be a witness to those who do not believe.

My Zen Spot

Cup of coffee

My favorite reading spot would be in my bed. I like to lie down while reading. And my favorite writing spot would be 1) in a coffee shop, because I could get more ideas from the environment and people around me. 2) the balcony, because it relaxes my mind and I have the view on top of everything and get more inspirations.

One of the Saddest Moments In My Life

My first lost was with my grandfather. I was only 7 years old when I lost him. I wasn't expecting it although he's already suffering from a lung cancer. I can not forget that night when my grand mother tried to wake him up to arrange hem on his bed when he was sleeping, but he doesn't woke up anymore. I can still recall how I cried that night, it was the hardest in my entire life. I can still remember how painful that lost was. He was there as my father. I grew up with him. He really showed me that I'm loved and special. Him and my grandmother. I can even proudly say that I'm a spoiled grand son. I can't remember how I cope with the lost. I will never forget him.

An Engaging Conversation

I remember one time after we finished playing music, my friends roland, ryan, tolits and myself took a break. While we eat our snack, we talk about updates regarding ourselves (we are having our get together with jamming songs and playing music). After a while, our discussion went into religion, and of course, religion is always such a broad and serious topic. But it is the time I remember I had a great discussion.

This is the time that I realized that I have friends who are open minded and likes a healthy conversation. Although we have different views and opinions regarding the matter (and didn't came up with a conclusion), but we still managed to listen to one another and share our own thoughts. We were able to digest the topic deeply and had a brainstorming.

For me, that's what important, an open mind and an open heart. It doesn't matter if we agree on something or not. The fact that we were able to express ourselves and make a healthy flow of conversation is enough to consider it as a great discussion. No short fuse, no impatience, no temper!

At the end, we parted still holding on our own views and beliefs. But as I can remember, I consider it as one of my greatest discussion ever.

How Music Makes Me Better

Gibson SG with Amp

Actually, I work better when my music is on. It gives me a feeling of not working. It keeps me enjoy the moment and keeps me inspired.

I have been liking music my entire life and I could say that music has been my life. It is my field, my specialty, my passion. Everything I do, when it's done with music, it becomes enjoyable.

On Public Speaking

I could say, that it is one of the scariest thing for me. I could jump off the cliff, ride a sky-high roller coaster, walk in darkness and graveyards at night, face the devil himself, but no to public speaking. I'm quite adventurous and I'd like to try things out. But when it comes to public speaking, my mind gets block, my tongue gets tied and my sweat pores open twice as much. You get the idea!

If I Could Be With Him (again) For A Day

Definitely my grandfather. I grew up in him and I could say he spoiled me a lot. I can't remember a day not being on side. He takes me wherever he goes.

My grandfather, Allan Earnhar Sr., was a guerilla soldier here in the Philippines during the second world war. Guerilla soldiers fought against the Japanese invaders. I heard some stories of my grandfather from some members of the family. I was too young to ask stories from him because he passed away when I was only seven years old. I heard exciting frightening stories from them. I'm sure he still has a lot of stories to tell.
